Living on Manitoulin Island, she embraces every season—playing hockey, ice fishing, and snowmobiling in winter, collecting sap in spring, swimming all summer, and running cross country in the fall. She especially loves swimming, believing her connection to water comes from being born in it, making her feel calm, strong, and free.
Maeve’s favourite animal is her dog, Grizz, because he brings her comfort and a strong sense of safety. Whether she’s at home or heading to bed, Grizz is always by her side, often curling up beside her as she sleeps. His loyalty and calm presence help her feel protected and relaxed, making him not just a pet, but a trusted companion and best friend she can always count on.
Maeve’s favourite outdoor activity is swimming at her family property on Lake Manitou with her sisters, cousins, and friends. The water is brisk but beautifully clear, making every swim feel refreshing and alive. Surrounded by laughter and nature, she loves the freedom of diving in, cooling off on warm days, and sharing those moments with the people she cares about most.
