Mackenzie should be the next Junior Ranger because she loves exploring nature, learning about wildlife, and helping care for the outdoors.
Thank you for generously supporting Mackenzie in this year’s competition. Your participation helps empower the National Wildlife Federation in their mission to protect wildlife, restore habitats, and inspire the next generation of conservationists.
What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreMackenzie loves the freedom nature brings. She loves exploring trails, spotting animals (especially lifting rocks to find creatures), and discovering how plants, water, and wildlife all connect. Being outside lets her ask questions, use her imagination, and learn by experiencing the world firsthand. Nature feels like an endless adventure where every walk, rock, or tree can lead to something new and exciting.
Mackenzie’s favorite animal is the bee because she admires how hardworking and important they are to nature. She loves watching them pollinate flowers and buzz from plant to plant. She also loves helping with the bees with her Pop-Pop on his bee farm! Their energy, teamwork, and role in helping plants grow inspire her curiosity and respect for the natural world.
Mackenzie’s favorite outdoor activity is exploring in nature because it lets her discover new plants, animals, and hidden places. She loves hiking trails, observing wildlife, and learning how different parts of nature work together.
