We know more about the surface of the moon than the bottom of the ocean. I chose to join my school’s Green Team to help do our part to compost to help take care of our earth. This protects nature and animals so they are always with us.”
Luke, age 9, chose to do an in-depth research project for school this quarter on one of his passions: ending illegal poaching of big cats. He would like to start a nonprofit educating and creating change to help with endangered species. Even as a toddler, he had an innate passion for lions and tigers. He specifically loves that they are “apex predators, and their majestic nature.” “My favorite animal experience was playing with monkeys when I visited the jungle in Dominican Republic last April!”
“I love hiking the trails with my mom, dad, and little sister Charlotte in Middle Tennessee near our home in Nashville and also where I used to live in Cusco, Peru until I was 4. I loved being able to see snowy mountains and still be close to cloud forests like Machu Picchu. Swimming and snorkeling in the ocean with big waves is one of my favorite things in the world, and I wish could stay in all day. I also just love playing every day in my backyard with my two Sheltie dogs, Piper and Allie.”
