What does Lucy love most about nature?

Lucy is just like her brother, unable to fall asleep as a newborn unless she felt a gentle breeze or birds chirping. I would say that she loves the elements of nature, collecting every rock, stick, or critter she can find. Eventually, she will stick things under her chin and walk around so she can free up her hands to collect more nature things! Once it is time to go inside, she finds a special spot to "put back" her treasures and leave them for the next explorer to find.

What is Lucy's favorite animal—and why?

Lucy's favorite animal is a dog - it is the one constant animal she has been around for her entire year and a half of life and she has never met a dog that she has not liked nor has she met a dog that has not liked her. She "pet pets" every dog she is able to and loves nothing more than a pup who will let her hug on them. Fun fact, Lucy was named after a favorite childhood dog!

What is Lucy's favorite outdoor activity?

Besides collecting her outdoor trinkets, Lucy loves camping and playing in any body of water she can find. Her favorite places have been Big Bend National and State Park in Texas, the Chattahoochee Forest in Georgia, Estes Park in Colorado, and the grasslands of southern Wyoming. When it comes to water, any water source, no matter how miniscule, she will find it and she will ensure every part of her gets wet. Although for whatever reason, this never translates into enjoying bath time...
