Logan loves to travel the world and learn about history, culture, and animals. He knows more about geography than most adults! :)
Thank you for generously supporting Logan in this year’s competition. Your participation helps empower the National Wildlife Federation in their mission to protect wildlife, restore habitats, and inspire the next generation of conservationists.
Our son is fascinated by how nature works! Living on an island in Hawai'i allows us to be close to nature and outside more. When we travel to other parts of the world, Logan loves to compare the different ecosystems to our island environment, discovering new plants and animals. Nature is his classroom!
Logan loves caterpillars. We had the amazing opportunity to learn all about the life cycle of these little guys. His favorite part was watching the chrysalis move, and then the butterfly came out! The butterfly climbed over Logan's hands, licking him with its proboscis, and he just enjoyed every moment. We let the butterfly go near some flowers, and it flew off to explore the world.
One of his favorite things to do is watching the clouds as they float by. Pointing out how they quickly change into different shapes or animals. One moment it's a dinosaur, and then he'll tell us how the cloud now looks like a bunny. Logan encourages us to slow down and enjoy life's simple pleasures. We can all learn a lot from Logan :)
