He is especially interested in how every animal plays a role in its ecosystem and he often says there are no bad animals, only animals doing their thing. The more he learns the more he appreciates them!
Logan says his favorite animal is a lion because he admires their strength. That said, he is deeply fascinated by bugs, including spiders, and the tiny worlds they live in. He loves observing their unique shapes and behaviors, and is always curious to learn more about how they experience their environment and what he can do to make their lives better.
Logan enjoys just about every outdoor activity he tries, from hiking and being on the water to rock climbing and riding his horse. One of his favorite things though is discovering new animals while outside, learning more about them together so he can tell his class about them. He is especially excited when he has the chance to safely touch and handle the animals himself.
