What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreLogan loves looking at the world through the lens of various creatures. He is fascinated with learning about and observing how different animals live through observations made outdoors, and through nature books and documentaries. He has a wonderful imagination with which he often replicates and reenacts what he sees, right in our living room, so he can be surrounded by nature all day, every day.
Although he is a big advocate for magnificent creatures like fish, stingrays, sharks, snakes and alligators, and for the habitats that help them thrive, he is hands-down most passionate about alligators. Logan is well known by students, faculty and administrators at his school as the kid that adores alligators. He dreams of becoming an alligator handler or herpetologist one day, so he can inspire greater awareness and empathy for the kings of the swamp.
Logan loves going on fishing adventures with his dad. Sometimes they fish from the shore. Sometimes they fish from the kayak. In any case, Logan is always on the lookout to spot wildlife and is quickly becoming a little expert. He loves sharing his knowledge of the wonderful creatures he encounters and learns about… sometimes with the unsuspecting bystander in line at the grocery store.
