Receive Text UpdatesLindley loves nature because of its beauty. One of her favorite things to do is explore outside. She likes walking through fields, looking for wildflowers or cool rocks. “Sometimes I find feathers that birds dropped, and I keep them like little treasures. Each feather is different, with its own colors and patterns. It reminds me that nature never makes two things exactly the same.”
This was Lindley’s hardest question to answer. She loves all animals but right now her favorite animal to learn about is the sea otter. She thinks they’re adorable and think it’s cool that they take care of their young while they float. We have river otters in our area that we see from time to time. She loves how playful they are and how they teach their young to swim.
I love to work on my family farm. We have a herd of Angus cattle, and in calving season we get to see the miracle of life. We also have horses and chickens. These animal are like our family, I spend many hours outside caring for them and watching them grow. I love riding horses too. Taking a trail ride through nature is one of the activities that bring me joy.
