Lex loves learning about how the world works, and so much of that conversation centers around nature. He loves all creatures from bugs, to reptiles, to ocean life, and is always asking about ways to make the earth a better place. His absolute favorite thing of all when it comes to nature is simply exploring! You can see a switch flip and he becomes the most inquisitive, overjoyed child when he is immersed in nature and can just be himself, learning, playing, and enjoying the outdoors.
It changes all the time! He said today his favorites are: kittens, dinosaurs, and bearded dragons. Kittens because they’re sweet and cuddly, dinosaurs because they’re prehistoric and from millions of years ago, Bearded dragons because of how much he loves his pet beardy. Lex is a lover of all animals and held his first crocodile at the age of 2, and our local pet shop even knows him and lets him hold the snakes, rabbits and other animals they have at the shop. We call him the animal whisperer!
Lexington said “my favorite outdoor activity is discovering new creatures!! Like last time I found a jumping spider!” He loves sitting at the park and seeing what animals he can identify from ducks to spiders to birds in the sky.
