Learn MoreI love that nature takes care of us without asking for anything back. Trees give us air to breathe, and being around them makes me feel calm and peaceful. When I’m outside, I notice more things and feel more connected. It also makes me think about how everything works together, and how we should take care of nature the same way it takes care of us.
My favorite animals are sea cucumbers and ostriches. I like sea cucumbers because they’re squishy and unusual, but they also help keep the ocean clean, which is really important. I like ostriches because they’re big, strong birds that have adapted in their own way. I think it’s cool how different animals all have their own roles in nature.
My favorite outdoor activity is BMX. I like going fast, it makes me feel like I’m flying and I like learning new tricks and the competition always push me to get better. Sometimes it’s really hard and I don’t get it right away, but I keep trying. When I finally did it, it makes me feel really proud. I also like being outside because it makes it more fun and I feel free.
