What does Leo love most about nature?

Leo loves the sounds and the smells of nature the most. He says nothing beats being in the woods hearing the birds sing and being surrounded by trees while your dad and grandpa teach you all their tricks of survival or hunting. Sticking your hands in dirt and finding bugs in the ground is the best!

What is Leo's favorite animal—and why?

Leo’s favorite animal is a Turkey because of their unique sounds, how they can hide in trees from predators and their beautiful feathers. A turkey is so interesting if you really think about it.

What is Leo's favorite outdoor activity?

Fishing is my favorite activity because of all the different types of fish we have in North Idaho. I love picking out the bait I will use to catch certain kinds of fish, seeing the colors and different details. It’s also a challenge to see if I can beat my dad or grandpa. Also when we catch we can keep some and feed our family my dad has taught me how to properly take care of the fish and how to cook it safely.
