Learn More“There’s just lots and lots of Animals to know!” Lena often talks about pollinators, asking what flowers they like best, and wants to take care of the planet for the animals. She often picks up trash she finds to “take care of the earth” and wants to learn about different environments.
“Corn snakes! They aren’t venomous! I like that they slither, they are so smooth and have no claws.” Lena loves all reptiles but she especially loves snakes. She is never put off by other kids preference of fluffy pet preferences. Despite the apprehension of everyone around her, she shows no fear in snakes or any other reptile for that matter. Her close second favorite is flamingos, she is passionate about the color pink!
Lena loves to investigate and explore nature! Exploring puddles, digging holes, catching garter snakes in the back yard, helping plant a vegetable garden… you name it! When it’s too cold to be outside, she wants to turn on a nature show to learn about nature things, and point out where she wants to visit some day! We have always called her our nature girl.
