Receive Text Updates"I love plants because they help the earth and clean the air!" Kip is fascinated with saving seeds or trimmings from our vegetables to regrow them in the garden. He's also planted vines and milkweed to attract butterflies and even a hummingbird who returns year over year during their migration.
Kip has been obsessed with all turtles since he was 4, but his fav is sea turtles. "I think it is so cool that they can eat jellyfish! The babies are so cute and the adults are beautiful." He has been raising a yellow-bellied slider, and borrows books about turtles from the library every month. He met Lonesome George and his living cousins last year on a dream trip to the Galapagos, as well as snorkeled with sea turtles, and visited a farm where he discovered his new love of hummingbirds!
Kip loves to explore the outdoors both close to home and away from it. He likes to go camping, snorkeling, and fishing with his family, and is saving for his own kayak (we recently went "manatee watching"). He also enjoys nature walks and has been improving his photography skills for taking his own photos of flowers and animals.
