Kenai loves the sound of birds and interacting with the elements. He calls himself a "water bender" when playing in the waves at the beach. It's not always perfect cause he gets frustrated by the chaos and unpredictability of the natural world but it doesn't stop him from getting outside to let his imagination soar.
Kenai would have to say parakeets cause they are so cute. No, owls cause they are brown and grey. No, frogs when he's playing in the water. No, crows... He just loves all sorts of creatures and for many different reasons. It usually depends on the circumstances and his most recent experience.
Kenai likes exploring, going into new areas and environments. Going up and down hills on skis and experiencing the thrill of the terrain is one way. He also loves being outside and playing tag with friends. And if there's a fun swoopy downhill mountain bike trail after enduring a long bumpy uphill, in that moment, he loves biking. And when all the activity is done, he just loves laying out in the warm sun and soaking in some vitamin D.
