What does Kayla love most about nature?

Kayla loves watching animals just do their thing. She lights up spotting rabbits in the grass, squirrels racing up trees, or even ants busy at work. At the zoo, she can spend ages watching birds swoop and monkeys play. It is the little, everyday moments in nature that stop her in her tracks, sparking her curiosity and sense of wonder.

What is Kayla's favorite animal—and why?

Kayla’s favorite animal is the kangaroo. At a recent animal rescue park, she loved gently touching them and watching joeys peek from their mothers’ pouches. She was amazed that a 9 month old joey was already about her size, even though she is 4.5 years old. She also loves that kangaroo starts with a K, like her name.

What is Kayla's favorite outdoor activity?

Kayla loves roaming around the park, climbing on the jungle gym, and running to get exercise. She also enjoys pausing to watch nature and animals along the way, noticing birds, squirrels, insects, worms, and other creatures as she explores.
