She catches spiders in the house and brings them outside instead of squishing them. She plays with her cat and feeds it and cleans up after it everyday. She reads books about animals and loves to learn new facts.
Kale'a's favorite animal is a sloth. Her grandmother passed away the year before she was born. Her grandmother's favorite animal was a sloth. She has grown to love sloths as a remembrance of her grandmother.
Kale'a's favorite outdoor activity is swimming in the ocean. In December, she swam with manta rays in Hawaii. She went tidepooling and saw octopus and sea turtles. She loves all animals, on land and sea.
