Everything! She's very artistic so she views the world in such different way than we "normal" busy folks do. She loves how free & energized it feels to be outside. She swings from the oak tree & just daydreams while listening to different types of birds sing. Her favorite bird to look for is the cardinal or as she calls it "Gma- the red bird" in honor of her grandma who passed away. She enjoys watching the sunset & the moon/stars come out & cicadas buzz in the background.
Kailin has many favorite animals & they are not all cute & cuddly. She is intrigued with tarantulas at the moment. This past week her school had a book fair & she found a book about tarantulas, which had a large realistic tarantula that came with the book. She really found it interesting that they have barbed like hairs they can use as a defensive mechanism. She also had a mini obsession with palmetto bugs for a short time. She pranked me one April fools with rubber ones.
Now that the warmer weather has rolled back in Florida Kailin spends most of her time playing with her big sissy outside swimming in the pool, swinging from the oak trees, riding her scooter while mommy & daddy walk the dogs, camping, painting rocks, walking the beach looking for shells, boating and fishing at the "secret spot" on the weekends with family.
