He loves that nature engages all of his senses at once. The sound of birds, the feel of grass, the smell of flowers, the sight of bright colors. He loves that there is so much to see, learn and explore.
My child’s favorite animal is a snake. He loves reptiles. He loves them because there are so many different types of snakes. He thinks it is cool that they slither, that they don’t blink, that they shed their skin and can live almost anywhere.
One of his favorite outdoor activities to do is be outside in the sunshine, watch animals and all that nature shows him. He loves to look for new animals and look for animal tracks and then learn more about them.
