What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreThe thing Joey loves most about nature is animals—especially reptiles and sharks. He loves all the unique adaptations they have to help them survive in their environment, and he loves getting to hold and touch animals and explore their features and habitats in a hands-on way. If Joey could go anywhere, he’d probably choose a zoo or nature center because they are great places to see, touch, and discover animals. He also loves to find frogs, turtles, fish, and snakes a on his own
Joey’s favorite animal is definitely a T-Rex. He loves it because it’s an apex predator with extremely powerful jaws, fast legs, a tail that it uses to balance, and tiny little arms. The fact that it’s extinct and we have to learn about it through fossils makes it that much more fascinating.
Joey’s favorite outdoor activity is swimming. We live in MN where there are lots of lakes, so anytime he can get to a lake with a nice beach, he’ll be happy for hours. He also loves spraying people with the garden hose and making mud to find worms.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
