What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreI love nature because of all the animals ! Many times at home or camping/hiking we are able to see various wildlife from larger animals to the small insects. I try to appreciate everything around me even if it’s just playing in my backyard. Occasionally we see scorpions and javalena too! Good thing we don’t see too many rattlesnakes!
My favorite animal is the honey badger because it is ferocious and fearless! It’s small but super brave and never backs down. I like animals like that when I’m exploring nature. When I hike in the Arizona desert, I imagine being a tiny honey badger adventurer looking for animal tracks, cool bugs, and secret wildlife hiding around the cactus.
Outside is my favorite place to play. I like to quietly look for geckos on warm rocks, spotting hawks that visit our backyard, and hiking on desert trails. Often times I go to the zoo as much as I can to learn facts about animals and get close to the animals I love. I also love camping with my family!
