Jaxyn also loves going to the conservation centers, like Meramac Springs to see the trout. He likes to go see the different types of animals that do not live near our home at the zoo and aquarium. He just loves all the animals and how cool they are. Animals are his favorite part of nature.
His favorite animal is a swordfish because it has a long nose with little side teeth. He likes the swordfish the most because he got to see it at an aquarium and it was amazing. However, after a recent trip to the zoo, Jaxyn says that his new favorite might be the Komodo dragon.
Jaxyn's favorite thing to do outside is look at different types of insects, reptiles, and amphibians. He likes to move rocks, logs, fallen branches, etc. in search for insects and other critters to see up close. He also likes to go in search of tadpoles, crawdads, and other critters in our local rivers, creeks, and water holes.
