For Jamie being outside means being at peace. She soaks up the emotions of people around her like a sponge and out in nature is the only place her mind quiets down away from the sensory overload of our hectic world. It’s where she feels most alive and confident. Never too afraid to try something new and endless possibilities to explore. She also loves animals. They comfort her and her empathy makes her care deeply about their and the environments well being.
Horses!!! Followed by dogs and bunnies 🥰 She once told me the back of a horse is where she feels safest. People are proud of her instead of being annoyed for her being “too much”! Horses are her therapy! They are gentle and once you earn their trust you’ll have a loyal friend for life. You have to regulate your emotions or you’ll make them nervous and they sense when you’re upset. Her dog because he makes her feel safe and bunnies because they are cute and soft and cuddly
Equestrian vaulting undefeated. She would do it every day if she could. This sport turned an anxious child with low self-esteem into a focused, brave, courageous girl with a better sense of herself. Followed by trail riding through forests and lakes. Preferably bare back. But she happily goes camping and hiking with her family, tried waterskiing, kayaking, surfing and has visited many national parks. Her favorite place is Sweden, where she can roam free on our friends’ farm
