What does Jacob love most about nature?

Jacob absolutely loves animals! He loves leaning about them, their habitat, and what we can do to help protect them. His favourite magazines are yours and National Geographic Kids. He reads every issue multiple times and shares cool new animal facts with his family and friends. He wants to make sure that they are loved and protected, and always have a natural home.

What is Jacob's favorite animal—and why?

Jacob loves penguins because they are beautiful black and white animals with adorable fuzzy grey chicks. They are masters of land and sea who work together to survive cold harsh climates. He also likes that they mate for life, are great parents, make their nests out of rocks, and are master fisherman. He has a number of penguin stuffies, often pretends to be a penguin himself, and would love to see them in real life. Other favourite animals include seals, koalas, sloths, sloth bears, and foxes.

What is Jacob's favorite outdoor activity?

Jacob’s favourite outdoor activity is camping! He camps with both his Beaver (Scouts) troop and his family. He loves tenting, hiking, playing in the woods, exploring new places, and playing near lakes and streams. Rain or shine, Jacob loves running around outside in the fresh air and enjoying the great outdoors. His favourite thing is to spot local wildlife and learn about their habitat.
