What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreLearning. He loves to learn about different animals, plants, & habitats. His sense of wonder about the natural world around him keeps him engaged and fills him with passion. He loves to share all his “fun facts” with everyone he talks to.
His favorite animal is an axolotl. He loves these little guys because of how original and special they are. Some fun Jacob facts are: They can regenerate, they don’t fully transform into adults, and are endangered. The best part of axolotls are that they are always happy to see you.
Jacob loves hiking. We recently did an 8-mile hike in Yosemite to see a waterfall and he found his new passion. Every 1/4 mile, we saw different things and never ran out of topics to discuss. He loves to go off trail and climb trees and rocks along the way. He is really good at spotting different critters & always wants to learn as much as possible about them. He woke up the next day ready for his next adventure!
