What we love most about our Izzy is her free spirit and big heart. She loves all creatures great and small. She is happiest in the forest.

Learn MoreI love most all the seasons of nature. In the spring, I love the beautiful flowers and the little streams surrounded by moss where creatures and fairies live. In the summer I love to hike with my mom and turn over big logs to find salamanders and tree frogs. In the fall, I love all the shapes and colors of the leaves that are falling. And in the winter I love finding tracks of wild animals that pass through the woods.
My favorite is the axolotl because they have a really cool fact: they can grow back legs and tails. And even part of their heart or brain. I think it’s cool that they look like a fish but they’re actually an amphibian. Oh and they have a cute smiling face and a funny nickname “Mexican walking fish”.
My favorite thing to do where I live is finding seashells and rocks on the beach or hiking our woods to find animal tracks. But what I love most is going to different places and seeing all the different trees and animals. Like the giant Sequoias in California and condors in the Pinnacles National Park. The big waterfalls in New Hampshire and hearing the loons at the lake. As I grow up I hope to see more fun places and see more fun and interesting creatures.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
