Learn MoreI like the animals, in all environments. Even the venomous ones. They all are cool creatures. I also love the wilderness; the forest and woods, oceans and lakes and even my back yard. In nature you have to look high and low to see it all.
My favorite animal is leatherback sea turtle. They are my favorite because they are like the night sky, black with white dots (like the stars). They are massive, HUGE. Basically a dining room table floating in the ocean. I had never seen one before but it is likely I could when I visit the beach. They are different from a lot of other turtles. They have leather skin, a different skeleton. They also live for up to a hundred years. Very much like humans.
I love a shed hike in February or March. Going through the woods to find deer antlers is a blast. It’s exciting when you find any of the bones. The trees are bare and you can see forever. And you can see things you never noticed before because there aren’t any leaves. It’s also a great time to be with family. If you are really quiet you can hear all the noises. It’s fun to identify what noise belongs to what animals.
