What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn More“ I love learning about all animals and how to take care of our environment.” He takes every opportunity he can to learn about nature and animals. Whether it’s through reading (his fav. is Jr. Ranger!), visits to science centers, zoos, or exploring trails and our backyard. Last weekend he helped an injured honeybee on the basketball court and taught me why bees were so important to our planet!
This generally changes with which ever animal he last learned about because he finds all creatures unique and fascinating! Today’s answer “a hippopotamus because they wade in the water and have sharp teeth!” Also anyone that knows Henry - knows he cares deeply about our dog, Bailey, and how he has been saving up his money for a parrot!!
Henry’s favorite outdoor activity is exploring, building things he finds with materials from nature, digging in the yard for gold, fossils or whatever kind of treasures he can find - past weekend he dug up a brick and was beyond excited of his discovery! I often catch him outside just laying in the grass with his hands behind his head just taking it all in and watching the clouds pass by. He’s also always ready to play any sport soccer, baseball, street hockey - you name it!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
