What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreHenry loves reptiles and amphibians. He likes fishing and turtle, frog, and lizard hunting. We have a family pond, and he will catch and release things that he finds. He labels the turtles so he can see which ones he caught before. He watches videos and researches everything there is to know. He is currently raising tadpoles, and we are excited to find out what kind they are!
Henry loves turtles and tortoises. It has been a passion of his for the last couple years. He said “I like them because they are cute, and they are prehistoric!” He is currently saving his money to buy a Russian tortoise. He is so very excited! He can tell you just about anything you need to know about turtles and tortoises. It’s fun to see him thrive and be so passionate about something that he loves.
He enjoys hanging out at the pond and spending time outdoors. He does a lot fishing hiking, and 4 wheeling. He cares about the environment and will always pick up trash when he sees it. His grandpa has also been working with the DNR to restore a marshy area on the property, which will bring in a lot of birds and other wildlife. Henry has really enjoyed being a part of that.
