What does Henry love most about nature?

He is very curious about the animals and insects of the world and learning about their unique features and abilities. Anytime we go to a new wilderness, we research all of the animals we might encounter and he get's a new stuffy of his favorite animal for that region. He has that natural explorer mindset. At home, he's always wanting to explore our trails and look for fun critters like snakes, frogs, newts, etc. His favorite site and smell in nature is that of mountains and pine trees.

What is Henry's favorite animal—and why?

Henry's favorite land animal is the Buffalo (American Bison). Ever since seeing them out west in various parks and National Forests (SD, ND, WY, MT, ID), he's been hooked. Each time we see them is just as exciting as the last time for him.

What is Henry's favorite outdoor activity?

Henry has been very involved in the outdoors since he was little, but he has a deep passion for camping, hiking and exploring. 4 years ago we started overlanding extensively and he's been learning about "leave no trace" as we explore National Forests, National Parks and BLM land. Our longest overland trip was 4500 miles and this spring we are exploring the Canadian Rockies and Alaska for our biggest trip yet.
