What does Henley love most about nature?

She loves stepping out into the fresh air and going on walks/hikes listening for nature sounds and figuring out what she might be hearing. As well as looking for tracks and figuring out what animal they came from. She also loves spending time near the water, skipping rocks and listening to the sounds of the waves crash. Her favorite place is walking along Panama City Beach, Florida. She enjoys playing in the sand, water and of course the sunshine.

What is Henley's favorite animal—and why?

She is torn between a dolphin and a turtle. Dolphins can stay underwater for a very long time, breath through blow holes which is fascinating, some can be pink, and they are super smart, social, and playful. Turtles are so cool because they don’t have bodies, their spine and rib cage are grown into their shell and their shell is like a house to keep them safe. They are the only animal who can breathe with their butts. There are many different species of both to learn about.

What is Henley's favorite outdoor activity?

Swimming, hiking, biking, visiting new parks, and bonfires with s’mores. She loves camping on the North Shore and has been doing that since she was a baby. We also have a family cabin we spend a lot of time at going on nature walks and exploring the lake inside and out. Minnesota’s hot summers, breezy falls, to the frigid winters and the wet springs- she is never bored when she is outside.
