Every walk turns into a mini adventure. • Being under the stars – Camping at night gives him a sense of wonder. Looking up at the sky, seeing all the stars, and being outside after dark makes nature feel big, quiet, and a little magical.
Hank’s favorite animal is the river otter, inspired by a rainy hike at Red River Gorge. As we walked, a playful otter swam right by us, diving and splashing in the water. It was his first time seeing one, and he couldn’t believe it. He was amazed by how fast and fun it was, and couldn’t stop talking about it. That moment stuck with him, making the river otter his favorite animal.
Hank’s favorite outdoor activity is anything involving water. Whether he’s on a boat, stomping through a creek, or jumping waves at the beach, that’s where he’s happiest. He loves the excitement of splashing, exploring rocks and small creatures, and feeling the movement of the water around him. For Hank, it’s more than play—it’s adventure, discovery, and a fun way to connect with nature.
