What does Griffin love most about nature?

He loves that there is so much to see and explore in nature. He can hike the same trail a hundred times and still learn new things about plants and animals every time. Each season brings new discoveries and there’s never a dull day in the woods!

What is Griffin's favorite animal—and why?

The King Cobra is his favorite animal because it looks really cool. He loves that there are so many unique snakes of all different colors.

What is Griffin's favorite outdoor activity?

Griffin loves to fly fish. He lives in the golden corner of South Carolina between the lakes and the mountains and has been fly fishing the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River since he was 3. We visit the fish hatchery and learn about the trout life cycle. He’s always on the lookout for indicator species, like crayfish and salamanders, to ensure good water quality. Each summer he spends 2 weeks exploring the tidal rivers and estuaries of Cape Cod. If there is water he will be in it any time of year!
