He loves alligators because they are helpers. During droughts alligators use their tails and snouts to dig holes. These holes hold water, providing a lifesaver for fish, turtles, and birds until the rains return.He is fascinated by the fact that alligators are living fossils that have survived for millions of years. He wants to learn how they stayed around so long, so he can make sure they stay around forever.He wants to be like an alligator and help create a safe space for other animals to live
