What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreGrady says he loves how weird and wonderful plants and animals can be. Seeing animals in the wild feels magical. Being in the woods makes him feel like he's part of something big. He loves it because he feels relaxed. It's tough to be anxious in the woods!
Grady's favorite animal is the timberdoodle. He says they're adorable, have goofy calls, and beady eyes. They look hilarious when they walk, like they're doing funky dances. Also, fun fact, timberdoodle are the slowest flying bird in the world at only 5 miles per hour (I had to Google this one, but he was right!)
Grady's favorite outdoor activity is kayaking. He loves being on a small, shallow lake. He says paddling around and exploring the lake feels surreal.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
