What does Frederick love most about nature?

My son loves nature because he thinks animals and plants are incredibly cool. He is naturally curious and loves learning how living things work and interact with the world around them. When we spend time outdoors, he enjoys observing animals, spotting different kinds of plants, and asking questions about how everything grows and survives. Spending time in nature helps him feel excited to learn and explore. He enjoys hiking, discovering new places, and seeing wildlife whenever he can.

What is Frederick's favorite animal—and why?

My son’s favorite animal is the mountain lion because he thinks they are big, powerful, and really cool. Yesterday at forest school, he and his friends ran into some paw prints. He loves learning how they move quietly through the mountains and survive in the wild. He is especially fascinated by their large paw prints and enjoys looking for tracks when we are outside. To him, mountain lions represent the excitement and mystery of the wild and the amazing animals that live there.

My son’s favorite outdoor activity is playing outside with his friends. He loves exploring, running, climbing, and inventing games together. Being outdoors gives him space to use his imagination, build things, and go on little adventures. Whether they are pretending to be explorers, searching for animals, or building with sticks and rocks, he loves sharing the experience of nature with others.
