He loves nature because it is ever-present. It is eternal and important to our being. It was there before us and will continue to be there after we leave. We are part of nature and nature is part of us.
His favorite animal is an eagle. He loves the eagle because it is strong, powerful, and swift. He sees that the eagle has similar skills like a ninja warrior stalking the sky and then swooping down to strike its prey.
His favorite outdoor activity is exploring. He likes to see new places and learn about their hidden natural treasures. He loves to appreciate beauty and be astounded by new secrets that nature has to share with those who choose to observe. Mid-march, a bluejay came to our porch. The weather had been warm (shorts-weather), and we debated what message about the change in weather the bluejay was bringing. Later that day, surprisingly, we were hit with cold, strong winds and lots of snow.
