Any type of frog or toad(Species in Michigan are his favorite). He loves to experience their life cycle and habits especially since we have all four seasons here in Michigan. It builds the anticipation each Spring of their emergence from hibernation, to mating, creating tadpoles and watching them become full grown. He loves to catch them in our creek, observe them for a couple days and then release them. We have a wood frog mating pair we rescued and will observe the tadpoles to release
