Emily loves how alive and peaceful nature feels. She notices everything—the sound of birds, wind in the trees, and animals along creeks and forest trails. Being outside makes her feel calm, curious, and happy. She enjoys learning how plants, animals, and ecosystems work together and believes nature should always be protected.
Emily’s favorite animal is the sea turtle because she sees them as majestic and ancient, yet vulnerable and in need of protection. She has learned that many species are endangered and dreams of helping protect them one day. Her love for animals started early—she used to watch her favorite TV zoologist, Jack Randall, and even had her mom film her “protecting nature” so she could send it to him. He kindly wrote back to encourage her, which made her love for animals grow even more.
Emily loves exploring forests and creeks, searching for frogs, birds, and animal tracks. She often brings her miniature animal figures outside and creates wildlife stories while she explores. She also enjoys bird watching and learning animal facts. Her passion for protecting nature started young—when she was just 6 years old, she organized a community cleanup and was recognized by Ford Community Heroes for helping protect the environment.
