I love nature because I get to learn about all things living. I like watching animals and wondering where they live and what they eat. I love looking at bugs, flowers, trees, and animal tracks outside. Nature feels like a big adventure and a giant classroom outside. Every time I explore, I learn something new. I also want to help keep animals safe.
My favorite animal is an elephant because it begins with E like my name. I like that elephants travel in herds like a big family cause I have a big family too.
My favorite outdoor activity is exploring and playing with friends. Last weekend my family and I went to a maple syrup farm and learned about how to make maple syrup from maple trees. We got to taste the tree sap and watch the sap be boiled into the syrup. We got to drill holes into the trees with the maple sap. We also got to visit the bunnies, ducks and goats on their farm. It was so much fun.
