Receive Text UpdatesEverything - the bugs, plants, muddy hikes, birds, rivers, trees or fuzzy animals, near or far, Ella is always ready with her “pack pack”. Being outdoors takes our family to a place of curiosity and peace- she has 1,000 questions and we love to entertain her curiosity. Ella will find the middle of nowhere the most fun place to explore. When Ella watches animals in nature her heart opens up more than I thought possible- her face, her voice, she becomes more grounded & you feel it
Ella’s favorite animal is her dog Aiko. Aiko is an 11yo Staffy who not only goes everywhere with us, she has called her, “my best friend” many times since she could talk. When Ella could first talk she would call Aiko into her room first some mornings which always made us laugh. If Ella is sad Aiko always curls up next to her to give her comfort. They go on nearly every adventure together whether it’s city walk or muddy trails. Outside of her bf she <3 bees, fish, snakes, horses, you name it
Ella’s favorite outdoor activity is going “to the forest”. If we are not there she is asking us to take her. That is probably because since she was about 1 we spent at least 5 days a week between the local forests. We turned each hike into an adventure and would explore old foundations, sit on logs by the streams and do simply things i.e., feeling the water, watch the birds or frogs.Our trips are never just an in and out they are filled with time enjoying the quiet and all the sounds of nature.
