What does Elizabeth love most about nature?

Libby loves encountering all animals in nature - observing them and learning more about their natural habitats. She gets excited when she sees a new animal for the first time and is very interested in learning more about each species she comes across.

What is Elizabeth's favorite animal—and why?

Libby’s favorite animal is an axolotl. She received a book all about axolotls and found them fascinating! Libby thinks it’s amazing that they can regrow a body part after an injury. She is interested in learning more about axolotls and is concerned that so few are left living in the wild.

What is Elizabeth's favorite outdoor activity?

Libby enjoys visiting Girl Scout camp, where she can go on nature hikes, make crafts out of things found in the woods (such as pine cones), and learn about the world around her. Libby’s favorite place at camp is the nature center, which contains many animal artifacts to observe, including turtle shells, bird feathers, mammal furs, and animal skulls.
