Encountering squirrels and chipmunks with their spontaneous acrobatics; witnessing the grand, sweeping views of mountain ranges and cliffs; and the graceful swirls and flows of a river winding down the bank, serve as the ultimate improvisation that can inspire creativity and expressions that motivate a young impressionable dancer.
Because of their graceful movements, constantly performing an underwater ballet, and their ever-present goofy smile—that perfect, joyous expression dancers must master on stage—Elisea-Rose finds them utterly captivating. Their frilly, feathery gills, like fantastical stage costumes, add to their allure, and their gentle, dream-like presence truly portrays graceful art in perpetual motion. For all these reasons, Elisea-Rose's favorite animal is the wonderful Axolotl.
For Elisea-Rose, as a competitive jazz, ballet, and hip-hop dancer, National Parks are her grandest stage, and wildlife serves as her awe-inspired audience. Whether mimicking Sequoia’s black bear with powerful but controlled pliés and tendu steps, dazzling the Grand Canyon’s soaring condor with wide, dramatic arabesques, or sissonne leaping like the mountain goats scaling a cliff at Glacier National Park, she loves showing off her dancing skills in the vastness and beauty of the great outdoors.
