Receive Text UpdatesEleanor loves animals the most about nature. She likes to use binoculars and "look up close and see what they are doing." Recently we ordered caterpillars online to watch them transform into butterflies and it was a really enriching experience for her. Shes curious about the way the world works and the animals in our world.
Eleanors favorite animal is a panda. She likes that they are black and white and that they eat bamboo. When originally asked what her favorite animal was she said a unicorn. When redirected she chose the panda. We recently watched a documentary about them and she likes that they are hard to find and that people have to dress up in panda suits to be around them.
Eleanors favorite outdoor activity is playing in her backyard and going for nature walks. As a family we like to go to the county park and do the river walk. She enjoys collecting pine cones and moss and bringing them home to create homes for bugs she finds. She loves looking for animals like squirrels and birds, tadpoles in the puddles and even small fish. She also loves the discovery center and visiting the turtles, alligators and snakes inside.
