What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreDresden is a natural conservationist. She loves the earth and all God’s creations almost instinctually. While she loves outdoor recreation, she’ll be the first to pick up trash on a hike or organize a beach cleanup. She recently started a club at her elementary school called Nature Girls to raise money for the World Wildlife Fund. So far they’ve raised almost $300 just with posters and announcements!
She LOVES scarlet macaws (and has since she was a toddler) because of their keen intellect and amazing beauty. She has said that it’s amazing nature can produce such beautiful colors. She was able to see a few in the wild on a trip to Costa Rica, which was incredible. She also saw many at a scarlet macaw reserve we traveled to visit while there.
ALL OF THEM? Ha! She absolutely loves to fish, which she gets from her dad. She throws back what she catches but loves being on a lake or river. She also loves the ocean with her whole heart and always asks if there are snorkeling spots where we are vacationing. One of her favorite things around where we live is snorkeling with leopard sharks when they spawn in La Jolla.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
