What does Donivan love most about nature?

I love crystals, stones, snakes, and cheetahs! I help animals stay alive—I yelled at my dad for squishing a spider and taught my mom bees are cool, not scary. “I help animals survive,” I said— like the baby turtle I moved off the road. Nature is awesome, and I love saving and protecting all the animals I can!

What is Donivan's favorite animal—and why?

My favorite animals are orcas! They can eat sharks and have super big teeth—“4 big!” (Mom is assuming this means 4 inches.) I love how they protect their pack and have amazing animal powers: giant mouths, sharp teeth, and super speed. I also think squids are cool because they can shoot ink.

What is Donivan's favorite outdoor activity?

I love hiking to waterfalls to look for cool bugs, snakes, and lizards. We splash and play in the “soaking cold” water, and I dip my hair to cool off. Spiders are my favorite! I want to find a horned beetle, and I try to catch lizards, but they’re way too fast. Mom likes when I find her flowers.
