Receive Text UpdatesDonald appreciates the beauty of nature and wildlife. He says it is hard to pick one specific thing to love about nature because each aspect contributes to what makes nature so wonderful.
Donald’s favorite animal is an anole. Anoles are a family of lizards that live where we live. We have many in our yard and he believes they are good survivors. He enjoys watching them turn colors and showing off their dewlap (throat fan). He enjoys catching them and relocating them away from busy areas where they could be harmed by others.
Wildlife watching is his favorite outdoor activity. He enjoys using binoculars but prefers to find a quiet place and watch what animals may cross our path. He recently did a nature walk at our local environmental center.
