What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreDimitri loves all of the animals a plants of nature. He is big into sounds, and he enjoys learning about all sorts of different animal sounds and what they mean. Dimitri is into life cycles, most recently learning about both chicks and frogs. We have a small urban homestead so he does enjoy chick and chicken “chores.” Dimitri enjoys getting his feet dirty, playing outside in our backyard, back woods, etc. different settings provides him different ecosystems to explore.
I went directly to the source for this one, LOL! Chickens- because he loves to take care of them Frogs- because he loves to find them while playing outside Dinosaurs- because of the history connecting them to birds (chickens) and how different they are from animals today
Let me begin. Walking/hiking, exploring, fishing, tracking, “night hikes” specifically looking and listening for owls. Boating-kayaking, canoeing, rowing. Garden with mom. Playing in mud puddles. Playing in little streams . Going to state parks to enjoy (NY is home to beautiful state parks) climb trees. Walk his little dog, Tina .
