He loves all creatures great and small, and is caring, kind, and explores the woods and nature every day. He raises goats and chickens.

What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreHe likes the animals the most! He loves animal spotting, following tracks, and bird watching. He's been to Hawaii where he went snorkeling, and he's swam with sea turtles in the Cayman islands and played with dolphins in the Bahamas. He is excited to see the wildlife in Alaska this summer!
Desmond loves his goats. He takes care of all of them, mostly independently. He says his favorite animal is a Nigerian Dwarf goat. He shows them at the local fairs for 4-H club and has won awards. He spends many hours weekly playing, feeding, cleaning and training them. He's been doing it since he was 8, and cares deeply for them. He also like sea life such as whales, dolphins, and otters.
Desmond's favorite outdoor activity changes with the seasons. In winter, it is downhill skiing. In summer, he loves to go to the beach, go for creek walks and play in the woods. He loves birdwatching, building forts in the woods, tree climbing, riding atvs, widdling, making spears, and flying his remote control airplane.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
