Learn MoreDeirdre loves everything about nature but especially the animals and the soothing colors abounding, especially the blues and greens in the skies and forest. She loves walks in nature and taking in all the views and hearing the sounds of the birds and wildlife. Her favorite happy-nature-place is Big Bear, CA where she loves to camp, (and swim and kayak). Deirdre also enjoys long walks in nature and the freedom that comes from being outside and being a part of something greater.
Deirdre’s favorite animal is the Bear. She thinks they are the Kings of Nature. She says they are cute and loving animals, and fun to watch, from afar. She thinks everyone should love and respect bears. We should not fear them, but we should respect their role in nature on this earth. Deirdre loves bears so much, she has played them twice in musical theatre. Since she can’t have a bear for a pet, she’s delighted to have her second favorite animal at home, her pet dog, Yankee.
Deirdre’s favorite outdoor activity is swimming because there’s no feeling like being in water outside, especially lakes and ponds. If she can’t be swimming under mighty peaks, she will settle for kayaking or even walking (near the water) under the evergreens.
