If he sees a fallen tree, he wonders what caused it. If he finds animal tracks, he studies them. He's fascinated by what he calls “creature powers," and how animals use their traits to survive. Nature makes him curious, excited, and always asking questions. His favorite part is exploring the outdoors with his dad, discovering something new together every time.
Colton's favorite animal is the ring-tailed lemur because he loves how unique and entertaining they are-especially their famous "stink fights," which he thinks are both hilarious and amazing. He's drawn to lemurs because they're so different from other animals, and he loves learning about how they live, communicate, and use their "creature powers" to survive. Watching and learning about animals like lemurs is what inspired his dream of becoming a zoologist or wildlife biologist someday.
Colton's favorite outdoor activities are hiking and camping because they turn every day into an adventure. He loves exploring new trails, especially hiking to fire towers in New Hampshire so he can earn badges and see amazing views from the top. Whether he's deep in the woods or just playing in his yard, he always chooses to be outside. He loves the fresh air, the freedom to explore, and the chance to discover something new.
